We all have dreams in life, we do, we really do. Perhaps you don’t know what your dream is, but start by opening up in finding those dreams. We’re a creation of nature. Created in perfection. We all have a purpose in life. Plants, trees, just everything you see in nature doesn’t have to think about growing. It has no fear, it just does. We people tend to overthink to much. It’s what holds us back on acting and growing.
When I work with people - in the Master Mind classes and coaching sessions – they most of the time don’t even realize that somewhere deep down in their subconsciousness there are dreams hidden. The possibility of working towards reaching their dream, their goal in life, has been presented several times before in life, but they just ignored it. They thought it was impossible, unreal, not realistic, … But hey, the fact that it crossed their mind means that it IS possible.
Chasing your dreams means you have to be persistent. You have to be dedicated. We’re all unique and we all have a purpose in life. Our goal in life is to get the best out of it. Live the life we want to live. Have prosperity in all possible areas of life. So why are we not acting on it? Why do we block ourselves and keep living the life we live today? The inner conversation you have is holding you back. It makes you take your ideas and dreams to the graveyard! People try to change their lives without changing their inner self, the old self-image they have …
Start with believing you are worth it and believe that you can make it. The road towards your success will be rough at some points, but failing is part of growing and achieving your goals in life. Setbacks are necessary to wake you up and challenge you. Just think big and see no limitations as you too can realize whatever you want in life.
Getting to understand how your mind works and how it steers your life for over 90% is a nice place to start with. Get out of that daily routine that makes you feel ‘fine’ instead of great. Start loving yourself and instead of thinking that you can’t do something, convince yourself that you can. Don’t live your life according to the expectations of your environment, of what you assume is ‘normal’ in society. We’re all a unique spiritual being that has the right to claim what is ours. Our OWN life.
Let’s start dreaming now. What would you like in life? Close your eyes and start using one of the most important mental muscles: your Imagination. It all starts there. Imagination leads to creation . Allow all possible ideas. There are no restrictions to your imagination. Be aware of your thoughts. Visualize them. We think in images, so start creating your pictures, your ideal life as you would want it to be. Maybe you see yourself living in another country, have another job, be an entrepreneur, a top athlete, … There are no restrictions! Imprint the images and look at them as if you’ve already reached that goal. Feel like a Rockstar! Try to be aware of all your senses at the same time.
What do you see, what do you smell, what do you feel? Maybe your hands start sweating? … Adding your senses to it, makes it even more realistic. See it! Get the feeling of what your thoughts are doing to you, what they release inside of you. Get emotionally involved with those new ideas: your next goal you just set. Do they give you a warm and cosy feeling? Do they make you happy and do they make your heart pounding? Then you’re on the perfect track.
It means your Intuition, your second mental muscle, is telling you that it’s good for you. Your intuition is your guide in life that will always show you your path. Make no mistake to confuse your intuition with your fear as fear is an emotion! Your intuition is sincere. It has only good intentions. If we were to live in a fairy tale, your intuition would be your ’Elf’. Trust your intuition and don’t ignore it! Get used to that voice inside of you. It’s your proper soul talking to you, giving you signs. Don’t ignore those signs!
Now I hear you saying that you can’t. It’s your Perception taking over. Perception is the muscle that is very closely connected with the law of polarity. You know the law that says that everything, really everything in life has a positive and a negative side. If there’s love there’s hate. We all know day and night. Black and white. High and low … Ok, let’s take it one step further: there’s a positive and a negative side to yourself, to your job, your house, your partner, … We can all make lists of that! So if your perception is negative, twist it into the opposite direction. I know that sometimes it takes a while to find the positive side, but just do it as I know you can!
Possibly your Memory, your fourth mental muscle, is giving you that negative feeling due to something you experienced in the past. Don’t let your future depend on your past. Your past is a long time ago and is not your future. Live now. When you go climbing, you open your backpack and choose what to leave behind in order to loose unnecessary weight. We tend to bring our past entirely with us on our mission in life. Leave it behind, only bring the positive stuff on your journey, as it will give you more energy and comfort, that won’t slow you down.
Now once you’ve got the image of your dream printed on the screen of your spirit, you need to stay focussed. Hold on to that image. Bring that image up every day over and over. It will give you more confidence and you will start believing and have trust in yourself. And guess what, we’re all born with a mental muscle that helps us holding on. The Will. It’s a powerful tool that lives in your conscious mind. Be aware that you have it and that you should use it. It’s where your persistence is. Your Will is so powerful. Use it every day all day and you will get addicted to it. It brings you closer to your goal. It’s your ultimate drug.
And last but not least we must be aware of our sixth muscle: Reasoning. What is the first step towards your success, to realising that ultimate goal and dream? It will give you feedback with every step you take. It will increase your confidence, your growth and it will give you a clear view on the next step to take. The how will become clear, don’t worry about it now. And as Martin Luther King said “You don’t have to see the whole staircase. Just take the first step.”
Thanks to dreams and ideas there is evolution. It took Edison years, he failed over a thousand times but finally he succeeded in creating the light bulb. The Wright brothers built the first glider but did you know that Leonardo Da Vinci made sketches of an airplane back in 1488?! We all have a purpose in life, we must create our own lives and stop ignoring the signs we get in life.
We all know that action causes reactions what then alters into results. It’s all about those results! Just take that first step into the direction of your goal in life and be grateful for what you’ve already accomplished. You got this far, so time to step up to the next level! Get fuelled by your own ideas!
